Today we walked around on narrow cobbled streets, saw lots of cool textures and doorways and architecture. Couple of photos now I have the technology:
We visited a museum in what was the Jewish part of the city, before they were kicked out. In 1492. Prior to that, the several hundred Jewish residents had to stay in "The Call" or wear a badge sewn to their clothing if they left their part of the city. Which was just next to the Cathedral. . .
Interesting parts of that gothic church, besides the many smaller chapels and altars, paintings, statues, etc., was that one tower was left from the earlier, Roman style church, which is 1000 years old.
Our hotel is much newer, and looks like a page from the IKEA catalog!
Where we will be around 2am!
