Saying Okay

So, after a year of rest, a couple years of serving where I was, a couple years of healing and growing, a couple years devoted to making art and NOT being a pastor . . . but still never quite losing this dream and deep confidence that I follow a God who specializes in resurrection. . .

I am willing to give it another go.

I have been arguing with God (with myself too) for the last several months about church planting. And the 'no' is getting quieter, the 'yes' getting stronger.

First step is to stop arguing, over-thinking, making excuses and trying to get out of it!

Next step is saying Okay, I'm going to transition out of 'regular' church and start gathering people who want to experience something smaller, less structured, more diverse and experimental -- and yet focused on Jesus.

and all the steps are by faith, in dim light, with lots of prayers.
